My favorite Belgian of all time! It was awesome of you to share your materials and make bracelets with you. Thank you so much for my very favorite one! Even though I recently lost the shell that you weaved into it… Oh well, at least I still have the rest of the design! Nothing is really meant to last forever, even though we all try so hard to hold on to the wonderful feelings that are happening now. Eventually, we all have to move on and I have grown used to this, only solidifying it quite recently to quickly move on. I try still, to hold on to the moment, but sometimes if I don’t let go of it when it is complete I lose sight of what I loved about it and become a little bitter. Only time and learning heals that. Thank you for teaching me more than I could relate in this short paragraph. It was amazing to travel to the north island and hang out in seclusion. The trip to the waterfalls is a memorable experience and will be relived over and over in memory and conversations to come. When you get settled, I’ll send you some mud!

Pushing a boat out to secure it and getting a free balloon ride for it, traveling to the north islands, nights on the beach, climbing to the waterfalls, we have done quite a bit! A lot of us travel with plans in mind but some of us are just traveling. Are you running from something or running towards something? What is the plan man – was always the question. Are goals good or do they prohibit you from experiencing reality? Are you finding yourself or escaping yourself? Some things should be questioned and all I can say is that you should question things more. Answers aren’t always as important as the question – in fact, the question is halfway to the answer itself. Are you using yourself or others to the fullest you can – and if one or the other or even both, is it for the positive or the negative? Next should be, whom is it for and will the other person have different feelings? Good luck in New Zealand – I hope you find what you may or may not be looking for!

You guys made my time on Taveuni a blast! I will never forget the awesome crab races we had the last night I was there and how hard you tried to get me to just stop swinging on the hammock I loved so much. It was a trip to be all caught up on kava, with the board out, whistling at the crabs trying to get them out of their shells to race. It really made me understand the essence in that doing “nothing” is really in fact doing quite a lot. The kava circle is a gathering to remember and whatever you do in that circle, you do in fact remember forever – and remember it as some of the best times you will have. Chatting with newcomers, hanging out with people you have already made connections with, you can never lose. If I had it my way, I would never leave.

Too bad we didn’t have a whole lot of time to hang out but it was awesome to hang out with you on the beach in Nadi, Fiji. We did the appropriate things, like look for shells along the beach and float around in the ocean. The game of “what?” was fantastic alongside the epic amount of kava we drank. It was so much fun to hang around while you played the guitar for us all and chatting about the beginning of your adventures and what to do and where to go. You will have a ton of fun for sure. I hope to meet up with you on the next island, but if not, take care and enjoy your year long experience. Don’t forget to stop thinking – stop thinking and start doing! It is the only way to go!

You were amazing to take me out around Auckland – walking along the wharf, dodging the rugby goers. Finding that dock to hang out on for the day was wonderful even though I had amazing sunburn afterwards. It was fun to have a buddy to stay up all night with – even though we both had to work! Can’t forget the museums too! It was nice to chat with someone while walking through the museums and the parks. Thank you for the lovely photography shoots and the trips for coffee! Take care my friend!

I had a lot of fun chatting with you at night! It was really cool that we both had the same work schedule – made the night much more interesting! I was sad I wasn’t able to say goodbye as my plans changed at the last moment. I hope you get the package I sent you – take care and keep in touch. I hope all goes well with your family holiday and your daughter going off to school. Don’t forget to treat yourself every now and then! There is never enough time to travel, especially around the world, but we aren’t dead yet so keep in mind there is always time. We just have to put forth a whole lot of effort to get to our dreams – but they are never impossible!

It was so awesome to hang out with you at night in Melbourne even though you teased me every night to get to sleep while I was working! You were one of the nicest people I have met and helped me out so much with many things, like getting my chocolate bars out of the vending machines that got stuck nearly every night! It was lovely to meet you and I wish you the very best in the future!
