1/4 of my map has been traveled! Back to New York to repack and refocus. A short stay it will be but then it is on to the rest of the world for the rest of the year.
Time to make this count!

So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security, conformity, and conservatism, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more damaging to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future. The very basic core of a man’s living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

Andrew: Keep on following your intuition, and do things that You care about. I think that if you believe you’re a trail blazer, its tough to know where you’re going because you have no one else to follow. That I think is actually to your advantage. You don’t know what you’re in the middle of, or how it will end up, so why stop it now? 60’s analogy is great, but so is something as simple as white light in a prism. You don’t know what you’re a part of, until you step back and realize all the components.
Andrew: But at the end (of Into The Wild by Jon Krakauer), he realized he had no one that understood him, and no one to share/bounce his thoughts with, and despite his whole journey of believing he could do it himself, he found out at the end that life is more than just bettering the lives of others, its bettering the lives of others with someone next to you.
