Skip Titanic for Glyptotek

Today while trying to find the Titanic exhibit, I wandered past the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek. My interest overwhelmed me as they were advertising an exhibit on Cleopatra’s world. Instead of the Titanic, I opted for the Glyptotek and am extremely pleased I did so! I now believe I have seen just about every Van Gogh, Pissarro, Picasso, Degas, and Monet paintings and sculptures in the world. OK… maybe that is exaggerating a bit, but I have seen quite the collection over the past few months!

I met Ariel today!

Someone forgot to tell me that she was in Denmark… but no matter, we met and talked awhile and although the day was beautiful, she seemed a bit sad. It took a few to find free bikes that are locked up around the city to venture over to her and the Rosenborg Castle but I did indeed find one. Then, while I was at the castle, my bike was stolen! A good laugh I had while traveling the whole block to the next lockup to grab another one, just in time to make it back for work. Not too many pictures today as I dropped and broke the lens on my camera. After pricing a repair, I opted for super glue at the local hardware store instead. Hopefully the repair will last awhile!

Tivoli – iloviT

Stare at the title until it makes sense! My wanderings today have brought be along the canal to Amelienborg Castle. Also, since it was a very lovely day, a fellow traveler – Peter – and I went to Tivoli. We left for awhile and then ventured back toward the end of the night to have some fun and snap some great photos. What a wonderful park it is – the oldest in the world at 168 years old! It is a novel park, located just a few blocks from where I’m staying. How fortunate!
