Superglue for my thoughts

21 days to go! It finally begins – the countdown to the official launch of Void. What have I been doing all this time, what have I been thinking about? Well, here are things that I may or may not have posted in the past couple months.

Science books – physics books, brain science, biology… I always have at least one of these types of books handy at all times, no matter where I am. I’m always at science lectures or researching a theory based on the knowledge I have obtained. There is nothing more pleasurable to me than having the knowledge to share with others!

Music – putting my tastes together. I really never realize what I listen to and when I’m asked I’m stumped. I listen to so much that nothing actually sticks out. I can only name things based on what I know the asker may be aware of. I now often listen to my own music player because I finally have a ton of good songs that I always listen to in one location.

Art! I do a lot of art but never hang on to much. There are so many paintings that are in storage or given away with no pictures of them. I always believed that art can never be priced and am often confused as the value on any type of art. Therefore I leave art, as I have always done, as an expression of great power. I can never sell art, for how can I tell how much it is actually worth?

Packing… this dreaded thing… gathering all the equipment I need, the laptops, the camera, the art supplies, the 45L camping bag, the sleeping bag, the solar powered chargers, the immunizations, the visas, researching flight prices, researching hostel prices, updating the site with all the new travel plans, programming the site, helping the plugin programmers develop their code better (for my benefit of course haha), organizing thoughts to even begin developing the site, spending time with friends before they see me off, spending time with my cats before I long to return to them again, living lost moments that needed to be reopened or closed off for good, helping those in need – be it animals or humans, saying goodbye to favorite sights and sounds, getting used to not using hairspray, getting used to not relying on the comforts of home, getting used to not relying on the fact I will not be in any location that is familiar to me, reorganizing my computer drives and web server in preparation… what else?

So much more – so I leave it to this song. Here is what has been on my mind lately, summing it up, to start the 3 week countdown.

Melpo Mene – To Be Someone  Lyrics

On the flipside this is awful
I see my notes turning into clichés
And I hate it when I’m deep
It wears me out and my feelings are flat
