Timing the volcano is tough

Craig and I took a drive after work on Monday to visit the volcano Kilauea which has currently opened a new fissure system. What better time to visit a volcano than to be there when it is making the news! Unfortunately the roads to the new fissure have been closed off (for obvious reasons) but it didn’t prevent us from visiting it anyhow. Here are the pictures from our adventure to the summit.
